We are pleased to announce the latest update of Student Debt Solutions. In this release we continue our pursuit of the most comprehensive solution for student debt relief available today.

Here’s what’s new in this release:

Federal and Private Loan Recommendations Separated: The recommended solutions has been redesigned to break out the federal and private loans. Additionally, a new “Compare” button allows borrowers to evaluate their current loan situation against the newly recommended plan. This feature provides flexibility, enabling borrowers to compare only federal loans, only private loans, or all loans.

Private Loan Referrals: Borrowers can now access referrals to help them with their private loans. Borrowers with private loans will now see a link to “Private Options” which will direct them to options for refinance, loan modification, counseling or even bankruptcy if desired by the borrower.

Enhanced Reporting: SDS has added to our extensive report offerings to include:

  • Borrower Loan Details: This report provides agency users with a comprehensive view of key borrower attributes, including federal and private debt, school status, grace period, deferment, or postponement. It also highlights potential savings based on the borrower’s selected plan, offering valuable insights into the borrower’s financial situation and decision-making process.

  • Borrowers Details: This report includes all key borrower attributes for each agency channel, helping users gain a better understanding of the background and motivations of their borrowers.

Bankruptcy Attestation Tool: SDS recently added a tool—BK Adversary—that allows an attorney to determine if a client is a good candidate for discharge of student loans in bankruptcy. This easy-to-use tool uses the latest regulations to make a recommendation. If the client is a good candidate, the tool will generate the adversary documents to file with the court. If not, SDS will send a link to the client to help them find a lower monthly payment for their student loans. This allows bankruptcy firms to easily incorporate SDS into their client services to assist clients, attract new ones, and generate passive income.

We are excited about these updates and confident they will streamline processes, providing more efficient and effective assistance. Thank you for your continued support and feedback as we strive to improve the Student Debt Solutions experience. If you have any recommendations, send an email to support@myresolvent.com to let us know your ideas on how we can make the product better.
